in 2016 Charlie Head completed a unique solo Paddle Board  run across the main water source of the Amazon  from its source high in the Andes at Queropalca to Iquitos an incredible 1800KM down river.  He travelled with a cameraman and assistant for part of the way but sections had to be solo as the crew boat could not follow.

Charlie’s courage and honesty and serious challenges in terms of terrain , food and injury make extraudinary viewing and the camerawork throughout is stunning.  To ensure all returned safely was a tribute to the production team and local fixers on the ground.
